Who We Are

Riverview Animal Protective League other wise known as Riverview APL is located in Columbiana County is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization. We receive no government funding.

We’re not affiliated with any agency (county, state, or government). We’re supported by donations and fundraising.

We respond with Humane Agents to complaints of animals being abused, neglected, and abandoned, and hoarding cases. Cases include companion animals & farm animals, not wildlife (ODNR).

 

Our Mission

• Operate as a county humane society serving Columbiana County, Ohio, pursuant to ORC §1717.05.

• Educate the general public on the purpose of the Riverview Animal Protective League.

• Promote humane principles and animal welfare.

• Employ 2 humane agents to enforce laws for the prevention of cruelty to animals.​
